Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Tsinghua University, Visiting Scholar at Princeton University (USA), Chief Scientist of the National Basic Research Enhancement Program, National High-Level Talent, Leading Young and Middle-Aged Scientific and Technological Innovation Talent of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Recipient of the China Young Scientist Award, Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Outstanding Contribution Award of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines. Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and Associate Editor of the internationally authoritative journals ASME Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power and Aerospace Science and Technology.

He has long been engaged in energy and power research in fields such as aviation, vehicles, and ships. He has led over 70 national, defense, and international projects, published more than 180 academic papers, including over 130 SCI-indexed papers, and been granted over 50 domestic and international invention patents.

Research Interest

He has long been engaged in energy and power research across fields such as aviation, vehicles, and ships, having led over 70 projects. His main research areas include: adaptive variable-cycle engines, hydrogen-powered propulsion systems for near-space long-endurance UAVs, high-speed intelligent swarm propulsion, fuel cell turbocharging, piston engine turbocharging, integrated thermal management for new energy vehicles, AI big data centers, and aviation power systems.
