The School of Vehicle and Mobility has one undergraduate major, Automotive Engineering, which has been listed as a special construction program of higher education at the national and Beijing municipal levels. The discipline of automotive engineering, with a history of more than 80 years, is one of the earliest automobile majors in China. The discipline has one major, automotive engineering, which has two special directions for talent training: bodywork and electronic information. The automotive engineering major, characterized by “extensive discipline coverage, strong industry demand and comprehensive talent quality”, main trains high-level technology and management talents in field of “electric, intelligent, connected and shared” vehicle and mobility. The curriculum and research directions covers subjects such as Mechanical Principle and Structure, Vehicle Theory and Design, Energy Conversion and Storage, Electronic Information and Control, Power Electronics and Drive, Automobile Modeling and Design. The targets of research cover road traffic vehicles, intelligent networked vehicles, hybrid power systems, pure electric drive systems, fuel cell power systems, clean energy and special power, etc.
